Shahibaugh Residence

Shahibaugh residence is totally renovation project. Clients old bungalow was typical 90’s style and less windows throughout the house. There were lots of dark pockets in their old bungalow. Client has more interest for plants, more windows for ventilation as well as natural light. We proposed lots of openings with planter boxes outside to establish connection with nature. The site surrounded by other properties so we proposed large skylight to get more natural light inside the house and make more open spaces as it was not there before. The entrance foyer additionally attached to the house give more modern looks by providing slim metal columns as well as planter thoughout the balcony. The house is built on entire plot with no margin so we need to play with chajjas which is the only way where we can explore.
